Sometimes, that glitter is very visible from the outside too - as in the case of the amazing Dazzlers from Petaloo, and sometimes that glitter is more of a subtle glimmering, visible if you look closely enough. Sort of like a light shining from within.
That's the case when you look at my sweet darling friend Anna!
This girl is one of the unique ones. The ones you meet, and immediately KNOW that they're gonna come to matter to you. A lot.
A long, long time ago (I can still remember... *hums*) when I just started scrapping, I was a frequent visitor of one of the biggest scrappy forums in Sweden, and back then, I think it was the only one - or at least the first one.
That's where I first bumped into Anna.
She was funny, smart, warm and sweet and I liked her instantly!
My very first sketchy challenge, was one Anna and I did together.
Since then, we've met IRL twice - and we're about to get together again soon!
We (together with the über fantastic Emmy - who by the way is this month's guest designer at the Nook!) are planning a weekend of SPAing, laughing, pubbing, scrapping and having fuuuun.
I can barely wait!
These photos were taken last year, when Anna and darling Maria came to visit.
(The downside of living in a tall county is that visits are sometimes hard to plan, so Maria won't be coming to the get-together this year, which is very sad, but we're TOTALLY planning on making up for that next year!)
So, anyhow - my glimmering, shining Anna-friend had to be scrapped with equally glimmering products, so of course I turned to my trusty DT-kit from Petaloo!
With 325 pieces of flowers and bling in the Paper n' Glitter Value bag, for one, it's not hard to get creative, and you can go a little crazy with the flowers too, and still have a bunch left!
I love me some overindulging, so these kits are quiiiite essential!
They're real good stuff!
And speaking of good stuff...
Here she is, my sweet friend:
Bazzill, Petaloo Glitter Sheets, Petaloo Sequins, Petaloo Flora Doodles Paper n' Glitter, Petaloo Small Florette Dazzlers, Petaloo Mulberry Strett-flower (the green one), alphas from Adornit & YouDo, sewing thread, black paint, stickles, a tag, lace, some papperned papers (sewn on and ripped off again for effect) plus some half pearls.
