...if I wanted to be one of their stars in the contest Stars in their Eyes.
So, ok, I can't possibly see myself as a "star", but the concept was so much fun, and the forum so nice and friendly that I just HAD to happily and proudly accept! (With an entire herd of galloping butterflies in my stomach... Because - I know who the other stars are! THEY are stars! Oh, you didn't know butterflies can gallop? Believe me, they can. As long as they're freakishly nervous!... ;))
To start off with, I hid under an alias, chatting and participating in the contests as much as time permitted (of course, I wasn't in the running towards winning, though! It was all just for fun.) but since it's "my week" now, I am out of hiding.
Check out the forum, if you have a minute or two, because it's very nice and the gallery rocks. These gals down-under are breathtakingly talented! :D
Here's the LO I made for week 3, when the star to be inspired by was the fantastic Elizabeth Kartchner. I didn't have one single patterned paper to my name when I made it so I improvised. That was a LOT of fun, I might add!!
Luckily, Emmy is so stunningly gorgeous that the entire LO lives off of her radiance. :)
What I "lifted" from Elizabeth's style is her way of blocking her PP, using multiple photos, the butterflies and the swirly journaling.
Thanks for visiting! :D
