It's interesting how...

...one word can mean such different things.

Like sewer.
Just a side note. ;)

See, this week's challenge at Tickled Pink Stamps Callenges is to sew on your card. Hand stitch if you prefer, or run the card through your sewing machine if you're as lazy as me. Make doodles, straight lines, zigzags or cross stitches. Make them purely decorative or use them to secure your embellies and papers. There are just as many ways as there are sewers.
The crafty kind... ;)

Here's what my card looks like:

Using Cherrie with Rose. She's so cute & SO versatile! :D
Sentiment says "hip hip hooray" in Swedish, by the way. :)

I'm entering these challenges:
Wild Orchid Crafts: Anything Goes

Papertake Weekly: Anything Goes
Stamp Something: Something with Flowers
Simply Create: Power of Flowers
Bunny Zoe's Crafts: Spring - flowers everywhere

How very adorable! I really love all the detail on your card and the mixture of textures and style. A bit of grunge mixed with cute and sweet and shabby chic all at the same time. I love stitching on projects. It's one of my favorite techniques, and I really like how you incorporated the stitching on your card. Really great job!

i can never quite bring myself to call people who sew "sewers" just as it is hard to make the leap to calling hand-made-rug makers "hookers"! :) :) :)

but if i was going to pick a favorite CRAFTY "sewer" it would be YOU... or... you would be she... or she would be ♥YOU♥... or...ok, clearly my english grammar has deserted me; can i get a HIPP HIPP HURRA! instead, please?! :)
