Last day of 2011

It's been a long year.
Well, I guess it's ben the same amount of days, hours and seconds as a year usually is - but there have been a lot of moments.
The first months of bad news, from-bad-to-worse-situations and trying to keep our chins high and our hearts full of hope. Half a year with nothing but uncertainty, too many bills and too little money to pay them with - while waiting for some answers. The long, dreary periods away from M.
Then, the upwards spiral!
M finally getting the job we were hoping for. Moving with all that brought with it - good and bad. Starting fresh. Getting the new job at Inzpira.

Phew!
Feels like we had enough stuff going on to fill a few years more.

Very little got created.
I was GOING to make a top-ten-post but I realized that I've hardly made enough LOs to make it. Even if I am, actually, very happy with all of the ones I HAVE made this year - I really don't think there's any need to just show them all again...
(Besides, my MOSTEST faves haven't been shown yet, as they are made for Inzpira. You'll see...! ;))

So, instead - here's something I made yesterday.
Not exactly my "One Little Word" of 2012 - but maybe one of my little words?

Preseverance:

Papers: Bazzill, MME, Dream Street Papers (I think)
Washi tapes, ink pads (antique silver, brown, white), glitter (in the Gesso!) from YouDo
Stamps from KaiserCraft
Stencil from Crafter's Workshop
Tons of distress ink refills from Ranger
Other: Gesso, Crackle medium from CC Hobby, Clear Accents, tags, Baker's Twine, doily, decorative scissors, Clock Face from Heidi Swapp, paperclip, staplers, typewriter font from DaFont (I think) and some kind of tag toppers I found in a drawer...

Photo taken in Kalmar, during our "scrapgal-gettogether-weekend" in September 2010. I think it was taken by Camilla?
...Oh - and that's me - being silly and climbing a light post, just because I could. Sane? Not much. Having fun? Oh yes!

....anyway:
HAPPY NEW YEAR, my friends!
May it be all that you wish for - and then a little extra on top. Just because.

This LO is just one of my faves, Zarah! Love the combo of harlequin+drips on the background, love the photo, the trailing twine-connected tags, and LOVE the sentiment about being closer to your goals than yesterday...gonna write that down and put it up on my wall for 2012!
