Approximate translation of the post at Pyssloteket's blog:
A few years back, I disliked orange. A lot. Turquoise "belonged" to my best friend, bright greens were meant for safety vests and stuff like that, brown was just plain ugly and gave me weird childhood flashbacks of the less enjoyable kind (velour pants, anyone...?), pink wasn't a colour but a disease, orange had no real purpose and yellow was only pretty on spring flowers.
Then I started scrapping.
Suddenly, I gained new fave colours. Pink and brown? They were pretty - and especially when combined! Yellow is wonderful and orange is one of my new favourite colours.
Maybe I have almost-grown-up, at last? Maybe the Pantone colours of the year have influenced me? Maybe I just finally gave colours a chance?
However that might be, the world is certainly both more fun and more colourful nowadays, and I'm not just saying that because my hands seem to always be a few shades of sticky acrylic paints, stencilled distress inks and sprayed mists... ;)
Another thing that brightens up my day, are friends.
