Back when I was a teenager and could have fallen into the sometimes ugly ways of teenage girls, with all the backstabbing, clique-forming and b***ing... I had the fortunate destiny of having two best friends. We stuck together like glue. The Three Musketeers.
Always having fun, not bothering with all that dumb stuff that went on elsewhere in the school.
We picked the same major. We studied together, we partied together, we laughed, cried, lived, evolved, went through bad breakups and happy crushes together...
Yes. We had fallings out, but we always ALWAYS mended the divides and came back out stronger than before.
That was half a life ago. Literally.
Now, these two girls? Still among my very best of friends. They REALLY know me (good and all of the bad) and for some reason, they still seem to love me.
Such beautiful souls!
They bring colour to my life...
...so when Scraplagret issued a challenge to use white, black, green, yellow, blue and red PLUS something cut out from a patterned paper on a layout - I grabbed my March Nook kit, added another paper from a past Nook kit and went to town.
Well, actually - I stayed home or there wouldn't have been much scrapping... ;)
Anyhow, bad puns aside, here's how it turned out:
Here's the material:
Plus puffy thickers from AC, Bazzill (white OP), distress ink re-inkers, washi tape, staplers, a Jenni Bowlin ticket (I think it's Jenni Bowlin, anyway!), a doily, Glossy Accents, Stickles and a bunch of coloured pens.
