Do you scrap chronologically?

Do you scrap everything in order? Do you scrap one event at a time?
Have you scrapped all your older photos and moved onto newer ones?
Do you scrap randomly? Mostly colour photos or mostly black and white? Maybe even cross processed, "instagrammed" or sepia toned?
Do you ever scrap youself?
Are your photos matched to your papers or your papers to your photos - or does that not bother you at all?
Will you always put everything back and pull out new things for each LO - or do you sometimes just play with the scraps left from other projects?

Me? I don't scrap chronologically, even in the least. I just pull out things I wantto play with and add the rest as I go. Sometimes, I grab the papers first (like when I'm scrapping with kits) and sometimes, I pull out a photo I want to scrap. Sometimes, I build everything around a phrase (usually lyrics or a quote) inside my head. I love it when my desk is just-mess-enough to have tons of fun bits and pieces and when things just HAPPEN to land beside eachother, look good and sinspire me to create.

I guess I'm messy like that. Too.
(I call it creative chaos. A more appropriate term might be "a complete mess". But then again, it can't really BE as bad as I think, because it takes a blink of an eye to clean it up - because sometimes THAT - clean surfaces and whiteness - is what inspires me most...)

And yes, I scrap myself a lot. I also scrap DH, my friends, my cats, my family, my shoes, new photos, old photos, artsy photos, photos of nature... and anything else that I feel like. Anything that inspires me, basically!
I love playing with photos in Photoshop, adding actions and frames, using brushes and tweaking settings, modifying colours and making things pop. It's fun - and a creative process I wouldn't want to miss!

Another thing I sure wouldn't wantt o miss, is challenges. Like this weekend's NSD-crop over at My Scrapbook Nook? I came in late, skidding by on a banana peel, basically... but I still managed to get 5 LOs and one card made. I had tons of fun! Thank you, Nook DTers! ♥

For example, there was Lilith's challenge "...and the nominees are" where you were presented with one LO each from three people and you were supposed to incorporate elements from all of them. Much fun!
Here's how mine turned out:

Papers: Echo Park & Lily Bee
Bling: You Do
Flowers & leaves: Petaloo
Alphas: American Crafts
...and some other stuff...

Have a wonderful Friday, my friends, and thank you for visiting!
