In Sweden we have this kiddie-rhyme that goes "gult är fult" meaning "yellow is ugly".
I have never really agreed. Yellow makes me think of dandelions, daffodils, the sun, happiness and... my childhood home kitchen. I really LIKE yellow.
It makes me smile.
(Unfortunately, I look like I'm three days dead, wearing yellow, so I have to settle for using it, not wearing it.)
Lately, I've been on a more-than-usual yellow spree, and I've also been enjoying cardmaking again. Haven't reached for any of my lovely digis or the usual motif stamps though. Nopes. Sprays, mists, templates and cute, easy to use stamps like the butterfly below. That's my current idea of cardmaking: easy, colourful & fun.
Here are a few of the cards I've made:
All of them are using Crate Paper.
Left card is a lift of Anna Sigga, middle card is all my own idea (sentiment says "thanks") and right card is a lift of Hilde Aaslund.
(Lifts for a Nook-challenge.)
The big butterfly is a HellaBella Design stamp.
The sentiments on the left & right cards are from SwissGirl Designs.
Have a sunshiney day!
