There are times when words are not enough.

My dear colleague Helena (a truly amazing and inspiring woman in so many ways) steered her bike towards Paris in july. All the way from Sweden. That's 1300 kilometres, or approximately 807 miles. On a bike. In seven days. Come rain or shine, defying their sore bodies, she and 789 other people braved this journey for a common goal:
to raise money for, and spread awareness of, children suffering from cancer (and their families).

They are TRUE super heroes.
They are strongwilled, generous and amazing people, each and every one of them.

But the strongest person of all awaited them at the finish line.
His name was Axel. He was one of the children they fought so hard for. One of the ones that should be saved, cured and able to live a full, long life.
He had made up his mind. He was going to be there, to meet his father when he and the other bikers arrived at the Eiffel Towel on Friday the 20:th of July. And he was. Axel and his brother and mother awaited them and it was all worth it.

Unfortunately, the angels were impatient, and on Monday Axel left this world.
(For those of you who understand Swedish, I recommend that you read Helena's post at Team Rynkeby's blog.)

No words are sufficient.

I made this card for the family. They're in my thoughts.

It is so unfair when someone so young with so much to give the world is taken from it! Your post brought a tear to my eye Zarah!
